ABOUT
Gabbi grew up in New Jersey and was raised on the following: shopping malls, the shore, and pizzerias. But her most favorite spot was sitting way too close to the TV in her Nonna's basement.
She holds degrees in creative writing and screenwriting from Ithaca College, where she focused on children’s media. After graduating, she found her way to Sesame Street via the Jim Henson Company. Gabbi then joined the Penguin Workshop editorial team, where she edited Mad Libs and licensed titles before helping launch Rise x Penguin Workshop, an imprint for preschool readers. She is now a writer at Penguin Young Readers and Sesame Street, and is on the Production staff at Sesame Workshop.

In both her writing and editorial work, Gabbi is passionate about storytelling that sparks curiosity, ignites imagination, and invites joy into kids' lives. With experience in preschool content, she loves the challenge of incorporating an educational curriculum into her work and above all else, just wants to make kids laugh.
Gabbi finds her laughter through quoting SpongeBob, learning how to play the harmonica (and not just the intro to "Piano Man," okay?), and imagining everything in puppet form. She lives in NYC with her husband and her favorite spot is still sitting way too close to the TV.
